Our Services

Family Behavior Therapy Services

At Family Behavior Therapy, our mission is to partner with families, empowering children through compassionate, evidence-based behavior therapy. Below is a more detailed breakdown of how we support your family’s growth and well‑being.

Consultation Services

Our consultation services are designed for caregivers who want to improve their skills and for caregivers who would like to help children with difficult behaviors improve their behavior. A behavior analyst is trained to look at a child’s environment and see how that environment influences the child’s behavior. Our behavior analysts work with caregivers to change the child’s environment, so children can replace inappropriate behaviors with appropriate behaviors and build new skills.

Why it matters:

Behavioral insights without proper guidance can fall short. Our Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) train your team, aka parents, teachers, and caregivers, to foster positive behavior and lasting solution strategies.

Applied Behavior Analysis Services

Family Behavior Therapy provides applied behavior analysis services. Applied behavior analysis is an approach to changing and managing behavior. The goal of applied behavior analysis is to increase desired (appropriate) behaviors and to reduce undesired behaviors. Behavior analysis services include, but are not limited to:

  1. Assessing child behaviors of concern and identifying appropriate replacement behaviors.

  2. Developing treatment strategies to increase and maintain appropriate behaviors and decrease behaviors of concern.

  3. Training caregivers to implement treatment strategies, in the classroom and in the home or other natural settings.

  4. Teaching children self-care, daily-living skills, social and academic skills, as necessary.

Our approach:

Every intervention is data-driven. We track progress, adjust strategies monthly, and share regular updates so families know exactly how their child is growing.

  • Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy is a data-driven approach based on the science of learning and behavior, primarily used to help individuals with autism and other developmental disorders learn and improve behaviors.

ABA therapy focuses on increasing positive behaviors and decreasing negative or challenging ones. All while also teaching new skills and improving social interactions for the child. ABA therapy is individualized and adaptable to meet the unique needs of each person since each child is will require their own plan.

  • ABA is commonly recommended for children diagnosed with autism or related developmental disorders. Key indicators include challenges with verbal and non-verbal communication, difficulties with social interactions, repetitive behaviors, and issues with daily living skills. You can schedule a consultation from our new clients page to get in touch with our team.

  • Yes, we provide in-home ABA therapy to make learning more natural and comfortable for your child if that is preferred. Our team can work with families in their home environment to promote real-life skill development.
